John Moody is the CEO and Founder of LinkSense, a enterprise-grade URL shortening service. Previously, John has spent over two decades as a chief technology officer, software developer, and consultant working with many companies, non-profits, and governmental agencies across the United States.
John is also a student in the Master of Theology (Research) degree program at Edinburgh Theological Seminary in Edinburgh, Scotland (the school, not John – it’s a distance education thing). He is in the middle of writing his thesis on Paul’s use of Old Testament wisdom narratives in 1 Corinthians 1-4. John has spent time as a bivocational pastor, youth pastor, college teacher, and adult Christian education teacher. He still preaches every chance he gets.
A native Floridian transplanted to the Pacific Northwest, John lives in the small town of Medical Lake, Washington (just outside Spokane). John and his wife Naomi are celebrating 28 years of marriage this year. Two of John and Naomi’s kids are still at home, but they’re working on that.
When he’s not working or studying, John enjoys woodworking, grilling and barbecuing, playing chess, and rooting for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
